Last weekend I had the special privilege of shooting Melissa and Tayler’s wedding. What made this wedding even more special was that the bride was an old friend from my hometown of Charlestown, Indiana. It was so great to both work with and catch up with old friends and classmates from my childhood.
Melissa and Tayler were great to work with. Melissa looked beautiful in her dress, as expected; meanwhile Tayler cleaned up quite nicely. We could not have asked for a better day to have an outdoor wedding. There were several months, days and hours involved in getting the venue wedding-ready and I have to applaud Melissa’s father and the rest of her family for a wonderful job in prepping the space. Every came together wonderfully.
As you will see we had quite the day! They even appropriately ended the night with a rendition of “Summer Nights” from the well-known musical, “Grease.” Many of Charlestown High School’s original cast were present including the bride and former director-turned-disc-jockey Crit Fisher. What a blast!! Thanks again to everyone who made the day happen. I want to wish Melissa and Tayler the best of luck in the future!
As always, here are a few of my favorite photos from the day.
