I have to say this was a ridiculously fun wedding. I met Bitsy a few years ago through a club and eventually we shared a class or two. I had the opportunity to get to know her and Kevin a bit last Fall while shooting their engagement session. I knew the wedding wouldn’t be any different. I made the trek back up to West Lafayette for another day on the Purdue Campus. The weather was perfect and allowed us to utilize all of our outdoor locations for photographs. We even made our way into one indoor location that will remain anonymous.
Sometimes you get cought up in the routine of shooting weddings. It's catching moments like this that remind you why you're doing what you're doing.
Real. Happy.
We headed to Columbia Park after the wedding for some more fun photo taking.
We came across this older gentleman fishing with his daughter. He was kind enough to let us borrow his rod and reel for this shot. Fun!
We're all kids at heart.
This was Bitsy's idea. We descretely walked in, everyone started looking at various produce items and at my cue everyone turned for the photo. We barely escaped what was certain to be a scolding from a few managerial types.
Bitsy made this topper herself. Kevin is a pilot. Spitting image of the two of them!
Love how they utilized their engagement photos into the table favors.
Best first dance ever. Didn't think moves like that would ever come out of Kevin. They rocked it! If anyone has video, please share!
